It's officially off-seaon!

How can you handle yourself during the off-season? Do you mourn that you can’t go to the park for the next 6 months? Do you just spend the next 6 months on taking break and spending time with your family? There are many excitement coming next year. We have the world tallest’s water ride, new coaster at Kings Island, Carowinds, World of Fun, Sea World Orlando, and many other parks around the world. We are now fortuate enough to be able to go online and see the progress update through the park webcam and their blog. I think it bring a great anticipation and then when spring comes, you will already know all about the new attraction in depth if you’re crazy enough.

What’s up with CoasterWarriors.com during the off-season you may ask? CoasterWarriors.com will be going through some renovation on the website and we are hoping for a great kick off in late March as we prepare our 3rd season. Here are the things we are going to be working on in November in the theme park section:

- Improve the design for the park section
- Add link to the park official site
- Add Trip Report List to each park
- Add Park RSS for news and more.
- Fix the photo gallery in the Park Database
- Add Video Gallery
- Add Defunct Section
- And more as we go on!

And here are the rest of the construction that’s currently being scheduled:

Phase 1: November 2008
– Mention Above
Phase 2: December 2008
– Roller Coaster Database
Phase 3: January 2009
– Flat Ride Section / News Section Upgrade / Dark Ride Section
Phase 4: Feburary 2009
– Dark Ride Section / Event Section upgrade
Phase 5: March 2009
– Leftover Phase / Search Box Update

P.S. For sneak preview on the “surprise” on Nov. 17, check the blog regularly. It will pop up for some period of time and then it will disappear! No worry it will pop up again several time and it will disappear several time as well. It’s not a game. It is a teaser give-away!

Until the next time…

    ^That sounds very cool!

I look at the off-season not being a time where we can’t do what we love nor traveling to places and discovering new ones each year, but rather a time where we get refreshed for the new season ahead of us! It’s a great time for planning and getting hyped.
